Maisie - Aqua

I have always had a passion for flowers, from growing to arranging. My floristry career began over 10 years ago, when I was fortunate to start freelancing for Jo, the former owner of Aqua. Since then, I have worked for multiple events florists and shops, gaining knowledge and helping me to create my own style.

When Jo asked me if I would like to buy Aqua, it felt like the perfect opportunity to push my floristry career forward. I now enjoy working alongside happy couples to help bring their visions to life, with a bit of my own flair added in.

I have a natural flowing style, creating bouquets that feel freshly picked and unique to the client. I love to use perennial flowers, grasses, berries and sometimes fruit to add unexpected textures giving designs that charmingly wild look.

I like to be challenged in what I produce and therefore love to be given an unusual colour palette or flower to work with. Some of my favourite pieces have been those that have surprised me, with the use of a flower or foliage that I had not considered before. Every arrangement should be bespoke and personal to the client, so that your flowers reflect you on the day.
